Nicola's love affair with grapes began in the Cape Winelands, where she found sheer joy in curated gastronomic and wine-tasting adventures. Embracing the rich heritage of Portuguese wine, Nicola aims to blend her knowledge and passion to invest in the abundant wealth of Portuguese vines, bringing a touch of her heritage to every tour.

Hazel Shaw

CMO & Co-Founder

Originally from Ireland, Hazel has made Lisbon her home since 2020. After years of working in wine bars and obtaining her WSET Level 2 qualifications, she developed a passion for good wines and top-class hospitality. Hazel is dedicated to curating immersive wine-tasting experiences, nurturing communities, and celebrating the vibrant winemaking culture in Portugal.

Meg Bailey

Local Guide

Meet Megan, a vibrant Portuguese local with proud Welsh roots and an undeniable passion for wine. Known for her extensive collection of fun facts and intriguing “did you knows,” she always brings an element of surprise to conversations. Megan also owns Má Língua, a very cool bar in the Graça district and a great stop for your post-tour entertainment!

It’s a hard job, but someone has to do it 🍷 We spent 2024 on a mission to create experiences that showcase the rich culture of winemaking that’s right on Lisbon’s doorstep. It was a year of researching wineries and vineyards, meeting winemakers and sommeliers, tasting an incredible selection of local wines, learning (constantly), sharing our experiences with friends, hosting wine tasting events, and most importantly welcoming YOU on our tours.
