This notice explains what personal data Via Vinho collects, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have. Via Vinho is a private wine-experience company based in Lisbon, Portugal (licence RNAAT 959/2024). If you have any questions, email us at hello@viavinho.net.
What we collect
- When you enquire, your name, email, and anything you choose to share (travel dates, group size, preferences, your message). We use this only to reply and to arrange your experience.
- When you browse, with your consent, anonymous usage data via Google Analytics 4: which pages you view, your device and browser type, approximate location, and how you found us. This helps us understand and improve the site.
- We do not collect or store payment details on this website.
Cookies & your consent
We don't set analytics cookies or load tracking until you choose Accept on our cookie banner. If you choose Decline, no analytics or cookies load. Your choice is remembered locally in your browser so we don't ask again. The website's essential functioning needs no cookies.
Why we're allowed to (legal basis)
- Enquiries, to take steps at your request and respond to you (and our legitimate interest in doing so).
- Analytics, your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by declining or clearing your browser data.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted providers who process data on our behalf, and we never sell your data:
- Google Analytics, website usage analytics (only after you consent).
- FormSubmit, delivers your enquiry to our inbox.
- Vercel, website hosting.
- Zoho Mail, receiving and replying to your emails.
International transfers
Some providers (for example Google) may process data outside the EU/EEA. Where they do, appropriate safeguards apply, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as needed to handle your request and for our records. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete or transfer your data, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent. Just email hello@viavinho.net. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with Portugal's data protection authority, the CNPD.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time; the date at the top shows the most recent version.
