An evening built around the Lisbon you don't find by walking past it.

Graça and Anjos sit on the slower, older side of Lisbon — narrow streets, old tiles, and neighbourhood bars that were here long before either district made it onto a map, the kind that close only when the last guest leaves. After Dark is a guided evening wine walk through both, built for travellers who want to drink with locals rather than next to them.

Four hidden wine bars across one evening. Portuguese natural and low-intervention wines, regional petiscos along the way, a viewpoint between stops, and a host who actually knows the people pouring. Small private groups. The Lisbon wine scene as the people shaping it experience it themselves.

★★★★★

"Loved it — 10/10. We visited four different wine bars and tasted so many varieties I'd never had before, and the snacks were great too. I ended up staying out afterwards with the others because we were having so much fun and didn't want the night to end. Our host Laura was fantastic — I'll go again soon."

Good to know

Questions, answered.

Where does the evening start and end?
We start in Anjos and make our way up through the neighbourhood to Graça, finishing near Largo da Graça. It's a walking evening — no transport — so comfortable shoes are a good idea. Your exact meeting point is confirmed on booking.
How much walking is there?
Very little — we keep the total under 1.5km across the whole evening, spread over several hours with a stop every few minutes. Worth knowing: Graça and Anjos are hilly, with cobbled streets and narrow pavements.
What's included in the price?
Eight generous pours across four hidden wine bars, water along the way, and Portuguese snacks and petiscos as you go — plus expert hosting and personalised wine recommendations for the rest of your trip. Prefer a daytime experience out in the country? See Sip the Setúbal Story or the full-day Setúbal Indulgence.
How big are the groups?
Private groups of two to ten guests — your party only. We never share groups.
Is it suitable for everyone?
Because of Lisbon's hills, cobbles and narrow pavements, the route isn't wheelchair accessible and can be difficult for guests with limited mobility. If that's a concern, get in touch before booking — we'll be honest about whether it's the right fit, or point you to a gentler option.
Can you accommodate dietary needs or guests who don't drink wine?
Yes, with notice. Tell us on booking — we can handle most diets (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and more) and arrange non-alcoholic Portuguese tastings (ginja, kombucha, traditional sodas) for anyone not drinking wine. Some restrictions like celiac, kosher or halal need checking in advance, so flag them early.
